Shaded Sympathy
A coworker just lost a beloved family pet, so I made a sympathy card for her. It was pretty simple but turned out pretty.
I silver heat embossed a card panel using the Simon Says Flowers Background, then blended on Hero Arts Shadow Inks in Soft Granite, Soft Yellow, and Soft Pink. I did the same with the sentiment and cut it out.
After gluing the sentiment onto a scrap of vellum and trimmed it to leave a border. I die cut a number of leaves in vellum and used a tape runner to stick them on under the sentiment.
I trimmed the card and attached it to a white card base.
That’s it!
Thanks for stopping by!
